Hello my name is Jasmine Kelly. I am a hairstylist from the DMV area. I started wearing weaves back in 2009. What made me do so was because I was on the high school dance team and our hair needed to be long and swing, so I started to glue tracks in my natural hair to give me that body length and volume needed. It made me feel empowered and like a sexy goddess. I started doing my friends hair and after that I started to make a small income from providing. services.

After high school, I started chasing other sources of income and detached myself from my true passion. I realized I loved doing hair around 2016! I started to miss not taking my hair career serious and I cut off all ties with what I was doing prior. I realized that applying lace was my thing so I took a few classes and boom the #JKSlay brand began.
